Covered Wagon Trailers, LLC - Econo One (1) Year Limited Warranty
Duration of Warranty
Limited Warranty:
Covered Wagon Trailers, LLC, 144 Stuart Way, Fitzgerald, GA 31750 warrants to the original consumer purchaser
for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase by the purchaser that the trailer shall be
free of DEFECTS in materials & workmanship attributable to warrantor. Excluded from this one (1) year warranty are
axles (separate axle mfg. warranty), electrical, plumbing, windows, doors, sealant, paint, undercoating, and fiberglass parts.
Excluded From Warranty:
Warrantor is not responsible for claims related to: (1) defacing, scratches, dents, chips, or tears, on any surface not
caused by warrantor, (2) routine maintenance, (3) damage from unauthorized repairs, abuse, misuse, or neglect, (4) damage
caused by improper hitch ball or tow hookup. (5) component parts covered by separate supplier warranty. Covered Wagon
Trailers, LLC reserves the right of final determination whether or not product has been abused by purchaser.
Specific Exclusion of Rust & Corrosion:
Covered Wagon uses a premium paint on all exposed steel on your trailer, including the undercarriage. However, no paint will
last forever. And when the paint is diminished or gone, rust and corrosion of the steel is inevitable. If you wish to keep your
trailer rust free, we recommend that as part of routine maintenance, you examine your trailer and apply black Rustoleum or similar
product to any place that has begun to rust. If you pull your trailer anywhere near salt water, or on roads salted for de-icing
purposes, you should thoroughly rinse all steel metal parts, including the undercarriage. Our warranty does not cover rust or
corrosion.
Warrantor’s Obligation:
Warrantor shall elect to remedy defects in materials and workmanship caused by warrantor by repair, replacement,
or refund, if replacement or repair is possible. All defective products shall be delivered to warrantor’s address above unless
prior written approval is obtained from warrantor. Warrantor may select another qualified location for the repair to be
completed. Warrantor will not be obligated, in any way, to pay for repairs made without specific approval. All costs incurred
in shipping or delivery or products for warranty service shall be borne by purchaser. Warrantor shall remedy defects
within a reasonable time, not to exceed sixty (60) days after delivery by purchaser.
Purchaser’s Obligation:
Purchaser must notify warrantor of any defects within fifteen (15) days after it is, or should have been discovered.
Purchaser must complete and return warranty card within fifteen (15) days of purchase to obtain warranty service.
Purchaser must pay all services, towing, and transportation charges incurred to obtain warranty service. Readiness
of use adjustments, such as making sure the tire lug nuts are secure, hitch ball size, and tire pressure are the responsibility
of the purchaser. Loading a trailer beyond the stated payload capacity (label on front L/H side of the trailer) will void the
trailer warranty. Type of evidence the trailer is being overloaded are: axle spring hangersseparating from the frame,
metal roof splitting, and front exterior metal panels cracking around screws.
Disclaimer of Consequential and Incidental Damages:
The original purchaser of warrantor’s product and any person to whom the product is transferred, and to any person
who is an intended user or beneficiary of the product shall not be entitled to recover from warrantor any
consequential or incidental damages resulting from any product defects, including loss of trailer, revenue, or other
commercial loss, use of rental equipment or loss of time, and convenience.
Limitation and Disclaimer of Implied Warranty:
Warrantor expressly limits the duration of all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a par
